Instructions:

1 cake makes about 20 pieces.

Pluck sauerkraut apart with a fork. Sauté garlic cubes in 1/6 of the oil, add sauerkraut and steam for 10 min with lid closed.

In the meantime, pick grapes from the stalk and cut feta cheese into pieces.

Season the sauerkraut with salt, plenty of pepper and half of the spice mixture and sugar (1) and let it cool down (the information for each cake).

Mix curd cheese, remaining oil, milk and sugar (2). Fold in half of the flour with the dough hook of the hand mixer. Mix remaining flour and baking powder and knead in. Roll out the dough on a little flour and place on a greased baking sheet. Mix sour cream and eggs. Stir in sauerkraut, feta cheese and grapes and spread evenly on dough. Sprinkle with remaining spice mixture.

Bake in a heated oven at 200 degrees / convection oven 175 degrees / gas mark 3 for about 35 minutes.

Our tip: As an alternative to fresh herbs, you can also use frozen ones – these are also characterized by a fresh taste!
